黃冠蓁 Kuan-Chen Huang

美國紐約州立大學石溪分校音樂藝術博士，師事 Katherine Murdock；美國茱莉亞音樂學院音樂演奏碩士，師事 Samuel Rhodes ；曾受多位名演奏家室內樂指導,包括Earl Carlyss、Seymour Lipkin、Emerson String Quartet、Gilbert Kalish、Pamela Frank及Colin Carr。
獲得台灣區音樂比賽中提琴第一名，曾與國家交響樂團協奏演出華爾頓中提琴協奏曲；2000年接受公視採訪，轉播於中提琴家Nobuko Imai大師班的表演; 茱莉亞音樂學院中提琴協奏曲比賽第二名。在美學習期間，優異的表現曾多次受推薦於大師班中公開表演，包括 Masao Kawasaki、 Michael Ouzounian、Kim Kashkashian等。全額獎學金參加許多音樂營：美國Yellow Barn Music Festival、Sarasota Music Festival、法Academie Internationale d'Ete de Nice Music Festival及義大利Accademia Musicale Chigiana，與許多知名音樂演奏家學習，包括Barbara Westphal、James Dunham、Robert Vernon、Yuri Bashmet、Kim Kashkashian、Sabine Toutain 及Tasso Adamopoulos。身為一個室內樂演奏者，曾與許多當今名演奏家合作演出：小提琴家Ani Kavafian、Emerson String Quartet成員、 Donald Weilerstein、Violaine Melançon、及中提琴家Katherine Murdock、Toby Apple、大提琴家Colin Carr、Bonnie Hampton、及法國號演奏家William Purvis。回國後與旅美音樂家黃美菁、林子平、高炳坤組弦樂四重奏，演出多場室內樂系列音樂會。現任教於國立台灣師範大學音樂系，國立高雄師範大學音樂系，國立中山大學，屏東教育大學音樂系等學校。
